Our mission is to ensure the people of Alaska govern the State for the benefit of all Alaskans; a government of the people, by the people, and for the people.
- The rights enshrined in the Alaska Constitution were intended for individual human beings and not “artificial persons or entities” (corporations, unions or any other group or association).
- People have inalienable constitutional rights that exist because our founders revolted against tyranny and established a free society.
- People may choose to create artificial entities and the People of Alaska and their elected representatives may grant them privileges, but these privileges should never become rights or the creation becomes the creator.
- WtPAK is a non-partisan coalition and will not endorse candidates. We inform voters on issues we believe to be critically important to maintaining a functional, representative democracy.
WtPAK is sponsoring the Alaska Constitution Pledge to determine where our elected officials and candidates for public office stand on the fundamental question of “who or what” should enjoy constitutional rights in Alaska. Their positions will be posted on the WtPAK website before the November 2014 election.
